On January 31, 2014 the FDA announced that they were investigating the link between testosterone and heart attacks, stroke and death. In the last 4 months, two studies have been published which showed a greater than 30% risk of cardiovascular injuries suffered in men who were on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT). The study revealed that this is effecting both men 65 and older with no prior heart history and men under 65 with heart history. It also showed a link between testosterone therapy (TT) and pulmonary embolism or blood clots, blocked arteries along with the myocardial infarctions (heart attacks) and strokes.
Partner Sean Keith recently returned from a meeting with attorneys from across the country who are investigating these cases. Sean has been active in representing people injured as a result of prescription drug side effects and is currently representing clients in the transvaginal mesh litigation, metal on metal hips and many others.
