Kristin Pawlik Appointed Vice Chair of AR Bar Association Legislation Committee

Kristin Pawlik, of Northwest Arkansas law firm Miller, Butler, Schneider, Pawlik, & Rozzell, PLLC, has been appointed to the position of vice chair to the Legislation Committee of the Arkansas Bar Association.

Pawlik is serving her third term on the Legislation Committee.

The Legislation Committee of the Arkansas Bar Association supports the association’s lobbyist in promoting the enactment of bills included in the legislative package and acts to support the associations position on legislation affecting the practice of law in Arkansas, according to the Arkansas Bar Association website. The committee also considers and decides the associations position on legislation.

Pawlik is a partner at Miller, Butler, Schneider, Pawlik, & Rozzell, PLLC,and concentrates her practice in the areas of domestic relations, family law, criminal defense and employment law, according to the Miller Butler website. Pawlik is also a member of the Arkansas Trial Lawyers Association and the Arkansas Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. She was elected to the Arkansas Bar Association’s House of Delegates.

The Arkansas Bar Association is a voluntary, statewide Association with more than 5,000 attorney members. The Association and its members participate in a variety of programs and services for the legal profession and society. Among the purposes of the Association are advancing the administration of justice in Arkansas and fostering high ideals of integrity, learning and public service among its members. The Arkansas Bar Association was founded in 1898.
