The clouds and sputtering rain didn’t dampen the spirits of the thousands
gathered for the annual Susan G. Komen Race For the Cure. The lawyers and staff of Keith Miller Butler Schneider & Pawlik joined people from throughout Northwest Arkansas this weekend to help fight breast cancer at the
Komen Race in Rogers. This was the third straight year that the a team has been put together to run the race and this year the Benton County law firm
had 29 members its largest team ever.
The group included partners, associates, staff, spouses, children and friends join other people from Fort Smith to Bella Vista who joined together to race against cancer.
Partner Sean Keith serves on the Board of Directors for the Ozark Affiliate of the Susan G. Komen non profit.
This race is just one of the many things that the firm’s members volunteer in as part of the Northwest Arkansas community. “This is a great way to honor survivors and loved ones we have lost”, said Anna Betts, who was in charge of organizing the team. “It’s also just a fun day and the people at our firm love to get out and show their community pride” she continued.
“To be a part of this every year makes me proud of the community I live in and the people I work with” said Drew Miller who ran in the 5k with his daughter Gabby.
