Partner Given Outstanding Service Award
Partner Kristin Pawlik has been given the outstanding service award for Legal Aid of Arkansas for the 2008-2009. Ms. Pawlik was previously honored late last year by Legal Aid of Arkansas for being the outstanding volunteer attorney of the year for Western Arkansas. This lastest honor, covering the entire state, is awarded to those attorneys who lead by example in assisting those who can not afford legal services. Performing this type of work, called "pro bono", is an important ethical component of the requirements to which attorneys are expected to abide. Our firm takes great pride in being a part of the community which includes helping those that do not have the means to hire an attorney to represent them. Kristin has lead by example with her work on behalf of indigent clients and this award is in recognition of her longstanding commitment to the Northwest Arkansas community.
