Firm Begins Campaign for Avandia Clients

Keith Miller Butler Schneider & Pawlik has begun a new campaign for clients who have been affected as a result of taking the drug Avandia. This campaign will include a three month television ad campaign to reach people in Northwest Arkansas who have had heart attacks and congestive heart failure while taking Avandia. Avandia, prescribed for the treament of type II diabetes, has been required by the FDA to place a black box warning on its bottle.  This is a result of the reporting of serious side effects including heart attacks, congestive heart failure and bone fractures in women.

The New England Journal of Medicine reported in a study that patients using Avandia had a 43% higher rate of heart attacks.  The Journal of American Medicine reported patients on Avandia had a 60% higher rate of congestive heart failure and 40% higher rate of heart attack.

Our firm has teamed up with a national firm to provide our clients with both local attorneys who they can communicate easily with and also have a national law firm at the front of the Avandia cases.  If you or a family member suffered a heart attack or other cardiovascular problems while taking Avandia please contact us immediatly.  Time is of the essence.
