Partners, Mary White Schneider and Kristin Pawlik as well as Associate Hadley Hindmarsh, will be attending the Children in the Law Seminar seminar.  This three day seminar is  sponsored by the Administrative Office of the Courts and is to be held in Little Rock from May 6 through 8th, 2009. This education provides certification and recertification training as court appointed attorney ad litem. Mary Schneider has been certified as an ad litem since the certification process began in the mid 1990s. Kristin Pawlik completed her certification in 2002 and this will be Hadley Hindmarsh initial certification training. Ad Litems are appointed by the courts to assist the Judge in disputed custody cases both as to initial divorces and post divorce situations. Ad Litems in order to maintain their certifications must complete an additional 4 hours each year of and continue to be a lawyer in good standing.
