Christopher M. Griffin
Christopher M. Griffin was born in Oklahoma and raised in Louisiana. Chris received his bachelors degree from Louisiana State University at Shreveport majoring in Criminal Justice. While obtaining his undergrate degree he operated a full time business. He was president of the local chapter of the Alpha Phi Sigma Criminal Justice Honor Society. In December of 2004, Chris graduated from the University Of Arkansas School Of Law in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He was active in trial competitions and was a selected to be a member of the Jessup International Moot Court Traveling Team. His focus during law school was on criminal law and procedure and alternative dispute resolution.
While attending law school, Chris also worked with the Rogers City Attorney’s Office. In July of 2005, Chris was hired as the Deputy City Attorney for the City of Rogers. As the Deputy City Attorney he was responsible for criminal prosecution in district court but also advised the City Council and Planning Commissions. Chris also worked on eminent domain condemnation, land use and development issues, and had an important role witht the Rogers Police Department as their legal advisor. He attended and successfully completed the Police Legal Advisors Training Program at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in Glynco, Georgia. He is also a Certified Law Enforcement Instructor in the state of Arkansas.
