April 24th, 2008
Hadley Hindmarsh and Chris Griffin will host a reception for the Arkansas Supreme Court Justices at the home of Judge John and Sue Scott on April 23,2008. The Supreme Court Justices will be in town for oral arguments the following day at the Northwest Arkansas Community College. The event is part of the outreach program initiated by Chief Justice Jim Hannah in which the Supreme Court has travelled to different parts of the State to hear arguments in cases so that the public could have an opportunity to view the Supreme Court at work without having to travel to Little Rock. Following the oral arguments on April 24, which will take place in the morning, there will be a luncheon and the Justices will attend local schools to speak to students.
